$7 10 and over, $3 ages 6 - 9, free 5 and under

Bring a blanket, bring a picnic, bring your friends and family and join us on the lawn of The Barnacle for an evening concert under the skies of South Florida. Opening the season this year is Valerie Wisecracker. Valerie is known for her unique take on Florida Americana music, she always pleases the crowd. Gates open at 6pm, music from 7-9pm. No pets please.

Barnacle, Books, Birds, and Boats
Free with a library card or the donation of a gently used book

Celebrate Florida Literacy Month at The Barnacle with this 4th annual event. Children will earn a book for completing a series of reading-related activities on the lawn of The Barnacle. Or, pack a picnic and a good book and spend the day just reading in this quiet oasis away from the bustle of Coconut Grove.

Old Time Dance
$10.00 - 10 years and older, 9 and under free

Kick up your heels to live traditional American music while learning traditional American folk dance steps from Lou Dow. All levels are welcome, instruction is provided. Dances such as circles, squares, contras, and waltzes were all the rage in the 1800s, so come party like it's 1899! Gates open at 6pm, live music and dancing from 6:30-10pm. No pets please.

This month features the return of Deblois Milledge. Once a fixture of the South Florida music scene, Deblois has moved to Southern California and doesn't get to play here often.
