Enjoy classic Americana tunes by Invasive Species, Friday, March 13th from 7 to 9 pm, at the oldest and best outdoor concert venue in Coconut Grove, the Barnacle Historic State Park. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for members of the Barnacle Society, $10 for children ages 6 to 17, and free for children 5 and under. Picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and flashlights welcome. No pets, please.
Invasive Species is a 6-piece deep Americana Grateful Country Rock jam band that will transport you from the Barnacle’s lawn back to the concert lawns of the 1960s and 70s. An homage to their musical influences, Invasive Species delivers a classic folk-rock-cosmic country sound topped off with virtuosic Celtic fiddle, fretless bass, boogie-woogie piano, twangy guitar, and in-the-pocket drums. Invasive Species includes John Holcombe on lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Jack Stamates on fiddle, Anthony Dick on bass, Steve Stacey on piano, Eric Wagner on lead guitar, and Monchy Corugedo on drums.
